A late comer to wakeboarding, I was instantly hooked, obsessed and consumed by the greatest sport there is despite not getting any younger. However, within three years of that first day and after a broken leg, I was the first UK female wakeboarder to be recognised as National Masters Champion and one of the first to compete at European level in the category. I was never going to curb my enthusiasm; I was a child again with all the curiosity, excitement exhilaration and drive for new discoveries.
